I love holidays!  Besides just being able to do what we want when we want it and having great family time together, I finally get to do all the things I have been drooling over on Pinterest or other blogs.  It’s just so exciting!  And the girls cant believe their luck in that they get to do all these things with me.

Flap jacks bring back so many good memories for me – lazy Sunday afternoons with my Grandmother – one of the only “traditions” that our family really had.  So ever since I saw these on Pinterest I’ve been wanting to try it.  And it turned out so well.  I used the flap jack recipe that I already posted a while back and we just divided it up over 3 bowls – yellow, blue and red.  Did a couple like that and then added red to the yellow, yellow to the blue and blue to the red.  So much fun!!

Riya knows how to work a picture…

They couldn’t handle the noisy of the beater – holding their ears and shouting “noisy, noisy. noiseeeeee”

Licking the flour off the table and the spoons…  Because flour tastes sooo good!
