A Day In The Life Of The Alfino'sFrom MomMemorable MomentsOur KiddiesRiya-Ray

An I Owe You

I know that I am seriously slacking in the blogging front right now.  For example we had a pretty awesome mermaid party on the weekend that went from this pile of stuff into a pretty nice afternoon for the girls.  It was a beautiful day here in Cape Town and I have loads of photos to show you but I haven’t had a chance to download them off my camera and edit them yet.  I know I owe you that one.

But there’s a good reason that I haven’t done anything yet and that’s because Seth and I actually went on a date night last night.  Can you believe it.  Feels like forever since we last got and evening to do what we wanted to do.  And obviously that meant going to a movie, because what’s a date night without the sounds of loud movieness in your ears.  On that note we watched Wolverine and I must say that I was totally disappointed.  How can Marvel go from the awesomeness that is The Avengers (a completely action and comedy packed movie) to this cheesy/”I don’t know if you’ve gone crazy romance” with a bit of action.  Seriously blegh.

And now in a few short moments I will be off with Riya to go to her first photo shoot.  I’m still not sure how I feel.  And from what I can see she’s not sure how to feel either.  So ja, I have no idea how on Earth this is going to go, so prayers appreciated.

Other than that things are pretty good around here.  All the big nerve wrecking stuff is finally coming to an end.  All that’s left is Knox’s 1st birthday just a couple of days before we have to move house…  Cos that’s easy peasy lemon squeezy.

How is your short week going?
