Do you know what I realised this weekend?
You never fully “own” this parenting thing. Yes, some days are great and you totally feel like you got this parenting gig down to a fine art, but for me those days are swiftly followed with a “kick to the face” (I wish I was only speaking figuratively – this really happened). Just when I thought we had things waxed around here, Knox got sick again and all of them plotted a revolt. It was not pretty and I am rather exhausted.
What’s that got to do with MamaMagic? Well nothing really, except that it DOES help you to have all the tools in your arsenal to at least feel like you can give parenting a run for it’s money.
MamaMagic™, The Baby Expo® is in Cape Town for the weekend of 31 Oct – 2 Nov and if you’ve got kids between 0-5, pregnant or even just thinking of having kids, you’ll want to go and check it out. You’ll find everything that you need right there, from gaining knowledge about pregnancy and parenting to the latest products to help you along on your journey – we all need that little bit extra to help the day run smoother.
This year they are celebrating their 10th birthday and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever! The exhibition is going to be offering an Experts Lounge with a variety of talks that are free to attend, Barney will be performing energetic and interactive shows on stage daily, you can stand a chance to win a pregnancy starter pack valued at over R120 000 as well as prizes for the whole family in their Pic n Win, plus many other exciting show features that cater for each individual’s needs.
Let’s just go back a second. I don’t know if you spotted it, but Barney will be there.
Now, way back before we had kids, Seth and I agreed that they would not – under any circumstances – watch Barney. We were rather successful with this quest with Kyla, mostly successful with Riya but totally hopeless with Knox. One episode in and he was hooked. And now watching it without the teenage goggles that I had on, I actually love how educational and chilled it is. Sorry Barney. We judged you unfairly.
So, it goes without saying that the kids are BEYOND excited to be meeting him at the MamaMagic™, The Baby Expo® and we want to share that excitement with you.
TWO people stand a chance to WIN 2 tickets to the MamaMagic Expo with a chance to MEET BARNEY!
Unfortunately this is obviously only available to people that can be in Cape Town on those dates.
