Feeling The Pinch

This is basically a sponsored post, seeing as I co-own Incompass

I know it’s not really best practice to be telling you about my contraceptive methods, but here I go anyway.

Do you know what the MOST effective contraceptive is?

Not having sex.

No, just joking.  It’s paying THREE lots of school fees.  Like, every month.  Good bye money, nice knowing you.

And I wish it was just that.  But kids need other things too, like outings, school photos, more outings, fundraisers, clothes, shoes, nappies, food, a place to sleep and a parent with a reasonable sense of how to get all of these things together without sinking themselves into financial distress.

Every month I find myself wondering what we can cut to make living this life more affordable.  And every month I find myself staring at the budget and seeing that we have cut in all the places that we can.  And then I can’t help but think – who really needs insurance anyway?

Well.  Let me tell you something.  I was all, “Who needs insurance anyway?!” and then I happened to injure my car on a wall.  And then our basin in our ensuite exploded and flooded the entire house.  So me.  I need insurance.  And actually you do to.

But let’s face it, insurance is the first thing that we think of cutting when times get tough, but what if I told you that you don’t have to?  What if you could get the same (or better cover) while paying less per month?

I don’t know if I’ve told you this, but I actually work for a living.

Yip that’s right.  I spend my days trying to find better cover for my clients at a more affordable premium and then ensure that companies deliver when it comes to claims.  We are an independent insurance brokerage, which means that we look at all of our 25 different insurance companies and make sure that you are insured with one that not only gives you the best premium, but the best cover too.  With knowledgeable consultants in Joburg, Durban and Cape Town we are there to give you the personal service that you need.  And we don’t charge any broker fees for it.

Now I’m not going to force you to do anything you aren’t comfortable with doing, but I want to encourage you to just give us a shot.  If we quote and we’re not competitive then no one loses – you walk away knowing that you really do have the best cover for your situation right now.
BUT if we are competitive and you DO want to place your insurance with us, we’ll give you your first months premium right back into your account.

So not only will you have a better broker, a more affordable premium and comprehensive cover, you’ll also have a whole months worth of premium to spend any way you choose.

A pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

All you have to do is email me on risk@incompass.co.za and I’ll take it from there.

I’m currently paying more than I’d like for insurance but I’m also not sure if that’s just what things cost, you know? I think I’ll be dropping you a mail real soon.
