Up On A Mountain, We Captured Moments

A captured moment is more than a perfect smile into the camera.

It’s the giggle you share as someone farts, or the sneaky kisses you steal when the kids aren’t looking (or even if they are), or the cuddle after an injury.  It’s the huge and kiss that your child actually gave you without a fight.

It’s the look you get when you realise how much you love your partner/kids, or the way your daughter slings her arm through yours, or the way the toddler pulls you by the hand to come and look at his new treasure.

Those are moments I want to remember and cling to as they get older and we create different kinds of special moments.

Now look, I know I’m what you could call “an emotional rollercoaster” but I’m never one to not know what to say. Until now that is.  I was left speechless after looking at these pictures.  SO in awe of these special moments captured so skillfully for us to remember forever!

 

I’m going to come right out and say, “I told you so”.

What am I talking about?  Well, remember a couple of weeks back when I told you to book a shoot with the lovely girls from Nestling Photography?  They are the talented girls that did this shoot for us and I am so glad that we were able to spend this time with them.  Can you believe it only took like 40 minutes to get all of these incredible shots (and so many more that I didn’t include here).

It’s really great when photographers are encouraging and complimentary but also offer a lot of good direction and Carmen and Natasha have this down to a fine art.  We felt so at ease in front of the camera and it was really such a joy to work with them.
