So a couple of weeks ago, my little brother Shane got married.
I don’t really know why I keep saying my little brother, when in fact he’s been taller than me for years. However, no matter how big he gets, he will always have the little brother title because I’m older than him, if only by 18 months. So there.
It was such a beautiful ceremony – everything looked amazing and I think it all went really well. (Although that’s always the impression that guests get at a wedding isn’t it – only brides really know when something has gone wrong unless there’s something obvious, like no food.) Our girls were flower girls and because of the wedding photographers contract, we were not allowed to take any pictures of them walking down the aisle. I am DYING to see the official pictures. The girls did such an amazing job, even though they forgot to throw any petals as they emerged and saw all the people staring at them, but after a little reminder from my Mom, they were great. I on the other hand, had to do a reading of maybe 2 sentences and I cried the whole way through. As you do. If anyone could even understand any of what I said, it’d be a miracle. So flipping embarrassing.
Anyway.
Now I finally have a sister! Welcome to the family Catherine (although you’ve been very much a part of of it for, I don’t know, the last 10 years already?! About bloody time you guys finally got hitched.)
I didn’t get to take as many snaps as I was hoping to, because of the kids, chatting to family and all the rest of it, but here are some of the better ones that I did get to take.

I sometimes am apprehensive to engage simply because i dont want to sound stalkerish but i really do love still reading blogs. Thanks for sharing this special day! xx
You have no idea how much this comment has boosted my spirits! I will definitely make sure that I share more posts like this in the future!
Beautiful! Congratulations to you all.
Love this post Cindy – I can just agree – these are the ones I love most – Real life, maybe simple, but good stuff. Such a beautiful post and I really can not wait to see those little flower girls. And that colour on your mom is simply stunning !
