I was genuinely surprised this year when I asked the girls what they wanted their party theme to be. I assumed that My Little Pony would be the top of the list because they watch it A LOT. And I mean to the point where they all know the characters intimately. Even Knox is part of the action and asking for a Spike for Christmas!
They didn’t choose that theme (opting for the Camping option instead) but that doesn’t mean that they have lost their love for My Little Pony. Quite the opposite actually. Their love is growing at a rapid rate. I’m so bummed that we missed seeing the movie at the cinema and now we’re waiting patiently for it to arrive on BoxOffice so we can see how exactly these ponies turn into mermaids.
Because in case you thought cute little unicorn ponies would be as amazing as it gets, they actually turn into mermaids now too! Which is especially great for our girls as Kyla is mermaid obsessed and Riya loves all things sparkly like unicorns with rainbow hair. Match made in heaven.
When we got the castle to review, I didn’t say a word to them on what it was. Their reactions are so much better that way. Here’s how it played out…
