One thing that we LOVE to do as a family, is go out. I know that’s a hugely open ended statement but it’s true. We like to be out of our house exploring what Cape Town has on offer. And as you know, Cape Town has a LOT to offer. Honestly, we love going out so much that we will go out in any way we need to – from visiting restaurants, checking out new attractions, sipping on wines and even just getting our day to day things sorted. Which is why we’re excited to have The Entertainer heading into 2018.
I figure that if you’re going to be doing these things anyway, why not get it for half the price right? So many of our fave restaurants are on here anyway, so it’s not even like you have to compromise. We’re also seriously going to need this for when we start travelling more regularly in our Campervan as a lot of the offers for accommodation extend up the Western Cape.
One of the only “new years resolutions” that we’re making going into 2018 is that we’re going to try and pick a new restaurant from The Entertainer every time that we go out. That way we will be forced to also get out of our comfort zone and try new places that we wouldn’t usually end up in. I think it’s the best way to make full use of the App.

I’m not in Cape Town so can’t enter, but I must just say that I used it in Jo’burg this year and I find it totally worth it! Shared it with a friend ‘cos there are too many attractions to use them all on your own – in fact, even between the two of us, we haven’t come close to finishing it. So next year, we’ve asked one other to split it with us, so we’re going three ways 🙂
The food and drink options may just about bump out the attractions one by a smidge for us…although there’s bound to be a way to use both well 😉

Definitely food – my boyfriend and I love going out to explore and eat! We had it this year and had the same ‘pick somewhere new each time’ vibe, so would be awesome to continue that into 2018!
I would probably use it most on Food and Drink, Attractions and Leisure, and Beauty and Fitness. I had the book (yes, that veeery heavy book) and I never used it like I wanted to. I missed out on sooo much.
