After putting together a pretty comprehensive list of all my fellow parenting blogs in Cape Town, I thought I’d keep going and do it for the rest of the country too. I couldn’t decide which area to focus on next so I decided to use the route of our campervan trip as a guide of where to start!
Like I said, this year I’m all about connecting and growing in all the things. And one of those things is the blogging world. Reading other like minded blogs really helped me come to terms with my new Mommy role back in 2009 and was my inspiration to start my own. I hope that these women inspire the same in you too!
And I know what you are thinking. Parenting blogs in Port Elizabeth? PE? Seriously Cindy? Guys look, I know that it’s a small area but still, have you guys seen the amount of dynamite coming out of that area? It’s amazing!
INTRODUCING PARENTING BLOGS IN PORT ELIZABETH
In no particular order except the order that they sent it to me

I’m Simone, a mom of 3, a wife, chocoholic and makeup lover! This is my little spot to talk about anything and everything I’m obsessed with. My blog is a beauty, parenting and lifestyle blog that seeks to be your one stop blog for practical beauty tips, humorous and some very real #MomLife stories and also what’s hot and what’s not in Port Elizabeth.

Luchae is a list making, colour coordinating, calendar checking mom of 3. The focus is on life as a young wife and mother, with amusing anecdotes and thought provoking “a-ha” moments thrown in the mix. She also chats about her ever growing nail art repertoire and is an avid music lover, singer and songwriter. Together with Eleanor Douglas-Meyers of Just Ella Bella, Luchae co-host’s the official #ECMeetUp – an Eastern Cape based blogger convention.

For my wallet; I am a freelance journalist, layout artist and event planner.
For my heart; I am a mom to a precocious four-year-old and wife to a soldier, turned fireman, turned detective. My husband, Robin, loves cooking, Xbox and sarcastic comebacks. My son, Aidan, loves Youtube tutorials, crafting and stumping me with questions. I love writing, crafting and my boys, this includes our first born son, Logan, who watches us from the stars.
IN THE MEANTIME

A blog about motherhood, marriage, and adulting in SA today. Grab some coffee, and sit with me as I look for the funnies in everyday life.
JOURNEY WITH MUM
Let me tell you a little bit about the lady behind the scenes…
I am a homeschooling/unschooling, cloth diapering “MaMi” of 3 wonderful children. I work part time out of the house and part time from home, allowing me to concentrate on what matters most to me: spending time with my family, and making my house a home : )

I started blogging back in 2013, with no real hopes of anything other than creating a space to share my latest beauty finds with friends and family. A few months later, we welcomed our oldest son, Axl, into our little world and went from a family of 2 to 3. I found the inspiration (somewhere between the exhaustion and craziness) to share my own stories and experiences as a first-time parent juggling the life of a work-at-home mom fuelled by chocolate, LOTS of caffeine and of course, an undeniable beauty addiction.
