PARENTING

Awesome Parenting Blog in DURBAN

The first time I ever got on a plane, it was to go on my honeymoon – I was 20.   Seems like a lifetime ago now seeing as we’re about to celebrate 11 years, but this post is not about that.  It’s about Durban and I’m bringing up the plane because that’s was our exciting destination.

I still remember landing there and getting out of the plane.  People had told me about the humidity and all that but hot damn (literally).  It was like walking into a wall.  I’ll never forget that feeling.  Or how lush and beautiful it was even though we were there just after some hectic storms and half the beach was washed away where we were staying.

We spent our time there in air-conditioned rooms, dodging frogs or even one whole day we spent walking around a mall.  A whole freaking day guys!  I mean what were we thinking!  So much has changed in our approach to travelling (thank goodness) and I cannot wait to head back there this year in our campervan with the kids.  It’s going to be so great being able to do it properly!

So aside from our limited adventures there, are there any great parenting bloggers in the area?  Of course there are!  And if you’ve always wanted to know who they are, don’t worry, I’ve got your back!

Also, if you want to find any parenting bloggers in Cape Town or Port Elizabeth I have those lists too.

Dodging frogs?!?! Hahahahahahha where on earth were you in Durbs that there were frogs. Actually, my neighbour has a majorly loud problem with frogs in their pool so perhaps this is a real thing?! x

Totally legit! We stayed in this place, but I can’t remember the name now. We had a little frog visitor that freaked us out. And the most bizarre thing is that we were in the top floor of a two storey building!! How even?
