I’m not even going to pretend that I know the difference between Joburg and Pretoria – how long it takes to get from one to the other, who stays in which area or well, any of it really. I’ve never really been there to find out, although that will change later this year and I can’t wait! What I do know is that if I said that this was just a post for those in Joburg then others would feel left out. But saying in Gauteng felt a bit too big. Am I over analysing it? Probably. It’s a problem I have.
So let’s forget the logistics and move on to the spectacular women who have really great parenting blogs in the Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounding areas. We’ve already looked at awesome Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Durban blogs so it’s only fair to include our inland friends too haha.
I’m really excited to head out to Joburg and properly have a chance to see what there is to do there. The one and only time I’ve ever been was on a quick trip in and out, so I didn’t really get a chance to test out the city and what it holds. My kids are also excited to go, which is pretty weird. But I think it’s just because they have friends that have been and so they feel the need to try it out too.
Anyway, before I get caught up in all of that…

POPPET PATCH
Sidney Grace (known as Poppet) and I started this journey together after I had a complication with a spinal block procedure during an emergency C section. A Cerebrospinal Fluid Leak (CSF Leak) occurred causing my spinal fluid and fluid surrounding my brain to leak during her delivery. This left me with a brain injury and severely impaired speech so I turned to social media for expression of my creativity in an attempt to achieve the quickest possible recovery. That is how Poppet Patch was born and I recovered in record time.
