So it’s Winter here in Cape Town… Apparently… Well, when I wake up in the morning I guess I can believe it, because it’s roughly 4-6 degrees, but on Sunday it was the most beautiful day! With baby boy on his way in less than 9 weeks, I couldn’t resist the urge to get the whole family up and to the beach – despite Seth managing to put his back out the day before. It was so worth it!
The idea was to go to Hout Bay harbour, get some fish and chips and chill out on the beach. But with it being one of the only beautiful days that we have had recently, the whole of Cape Town had that idea too! We decided to go to the other side closer to Chappies and stop in at Dunes for lunch. It was heavenly. And the girls loved it too.
The food was really good, although it was flipping full and there wasn’t enough shade. Oh and the losers smoking right next to us pissed me off a bit… But other than that – GREAT!
Then it was off to the beach and that speaks for itself really!
