Did She Really Do That?

I don’t know about you, but we have a pretty good idea of who our children are.  You know, like without really even thinking about it you know exactly how they will react to a situation.  For example I know that if Riya has her dummy in her mouth and anyone tries to take it out her mouth (besides me or Seth) she will try and beat you on the head or she will launch into epic tantrum mode.  If Kyla is placed in a situation where there is too much attention on her of if she has to stand up in the front and do something – she will not do it.  WILL NOT DO IT.  Or so I thought…

At this months Mammas and Mucnhkins we had a puppet show.  Even though I organised it, I wasn’t quite sure how it would go down for all these little kiddies.  I was worried that they would freak the heck out.  Thankfully the puppeteer was amazing and really got the kids into it.  Especially my little Kyla that I thought would not want to be involved!  She was sitting right at the front, helping and doing everything the puppeteer Ilsa said!  I couldn’t believe my eyes!  Unfortunately although I got a lot of photos, I somehow missed each time she actually stood up and really got involved…  I think it’s because I might have been picking my jaw up off the floor from the shock of it all…

I never knew puppet shows would be so entertaining for kids of this age!  A definite must for future birthday parties!  And if you’re looking I would really recommend Ilsa from Magical Parties – she really was good!
